Athletics

We are pleased to offer a comprehensive athletic program, which is tryout based. Tryout dates are shared during morning announcements and published in our online McCracken Weekly. Remember to check with the nurse to be sure we have a copy of your student's current physical and athletic permit form, which are required for tryouts. Students will not be allowed to participate in tryouts without all of the required forms submitted. Payment should be submitted to school offices after tryouts.

FALL ATHLETICS

August to October

Girls Volleyball: Varsity, Junior Varsity, 6th Grade

Boys Soccer: Varsity and Junior Varsity

WINTER ATHLETICS

End of October to December

Girls Basketball: Varsity, Junior Varsity, 6th Grade

January to March

Boys Basketball: Varsity, Junior Varsity, 6th Grade

Cheerleading: Varsity (7th & 8th Grade only)

SPRING ATHLETICS

March to May

Girls Soccer - Varsity and Junior Varsity

Boys Volleyball - Varsity, Junior Varsity, 6th Grade

*In accordance with Illinois School Code, McCracken respects the right for students to modify athletic uniforms in accordance with religious beliefs, cultural values, or modesty preferences. Please let McCracken Administration or the athletic coach know if any modifications to the uniform are required or desired. Please contact the Business Office if you are in need of financial assistance.

After School Activities

We are pleased to offer a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities for our McCracken students! Access the brochure for a comprehensive list and brief summary of each activity. The registration form is also included on the last page of the brochure and must be returned to the school completed with any necessary payment. We offer many free programs in addition to fee based activities. Please note that some activities have a limited number of student participants, and others are subject to cancellation if too few students enroll.
