How can parents/guardians record an absence if we don’t have a computer at home?

Parents/guardians can use a mobile phone or tablet to sign into their Skokie School District 73.5 PowerSchool Parent Portal account at sd735.powerschool.com.

Guardians who do not have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account must call the school before 8:00 a.m. to report a student’s absence:
  • At Meyer: call 847-673-1223, ext. 2
  • At Middleton: call 847-673-1222, ext. 2
  • At McCracken: call 847-673-1220, ext. 2
What if I don't know my login for the PowerSchool Parent Portal?

If you can't retrieve your login credentials using the "Forgot Username or Password?" link on the Parent Portal Sign In page, please contact the Skokie73.5 Data Office at 847-676-8326 for assistance.

If I want to report an absence for more than one child, can I report them all at the same time?

Yes. Repeat steps 2, 3, and 4 for each child as described in the Attendance Monitor Parent/Guardian Guide. 

What if my child(ren) will be absent for more than one day. Do I have to sign in on each day to record the absence?

No. Parents/guardians can record up to five absences at a time.

Can a friend or relative record an absence if they are not the child’s guardian?

No. Only parents/guardians with PowerSchool Parent Portal access permissions for their child(ren) can record an absence in Attendance Monitor.
