Karen Hayes
Interim Chief School Business Official / Operational Services Coordinator
Karen Hayes joined Skokie School District 73.5 in 2018, bringing over 20 years of expertise in operations, finance, and project coordination. She has served as Administrative Assistant, Operational Services Coordinator, and was named Interim Business Manager in December 2024. Karen holds a Master’s in School Business Management from Northern Illinois University, a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Illinois, and a PEL with a CSBO endorsement. She lives in district with her husband, three kids, two dogs, and a vinegaroon and loves camping and hiking new places with her family.
