Dr. Helen Wei

Helen Wei has been the principal of Meyer School since 2019. Previously, she served as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment in Oak Park Elementary School District 97 and Principal, Assistant Principal, and Teacher in the Chicago Public Schools. Wei earned a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ed.M. in Language & Literacy from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and A.B. in Elementary Education and English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis. Wei is a proud alum of District 73.5, and attended Middleton and Oakview (now McCracken).
