Owen Douglas

Owen Douglas is grateful for the opportunity to teach special education at Middleton School after more than two decades of supporting exceptional students at Devonshire School in District 68. He was born and raised in Seattle, attended Northwestern University, fell in love with Chicagoland, and stumbled across his passion for teaching during a summer spent as a camp counselor. Mr. Douglas believes that ALL children can succeed in learning when provided with relationship-based instruction that maximizes their unique gifts and strengths to reduce the impact of their challenges.
