Joanna Szalewski

Joanna Szalewski has served in Skokie School District 73.5 since 1999 in multiple capacities: preschool teacher, kindergarten teacher, early childhood special education teacher, 2nd grade teacher, 3rd grade teacher, and now as the inclusion specialist at Middleton School.

Outside of work, Ms. Szalewski enjoys spending time with her family. Her family enjoys traveling, attending concerts, cooking together, playing card/board games, and watching shows together. As an educator and life long learner, Ms. Szalewski believes in a child-centered educational approach that engages, inspires, and empowers the student.
