The committee is comprised of Bilingual Education Program parents, teachers, counselors, and other interested community members. The majority of the committee members must be parents of children in the Bilingual Education Program and the membership is representative of the languages served. The committee meets four times a year and participates in the planning, operation, and evaluation of the TBE program. All parents of students in the Bilingual Education Program are invited to become members of the Committee.

WHAT WE DO:
  • Be a liaison between the school district, the parents, and the community
  • Review our district program and offer suggestions to better serve students
  • Participate and assist in the organization of bilingual education workshops for parents
  • Review the district’s annual program application to the State Superintendent of Education
