The ELL Center has a strong partnership with the Village of Skokie and Niles Township Government, who are consistently offering to reach out to families with different services. One of the major concerns of most new immigrant families is the financial strain on bills due to COVID-19 related circumstances.
The Skokie Human services Department and Niles Township government have allocated funds to help with those facing such financial strain. They would like for us to ensure that our students' families are aware of the assistance available to them.
