As a part of the Family & Community as Agency strand of District 73.5's District Equity Leadership Team (DELT), we will be putting together an Equity Advisory Committee. This group will be comprised of community members who work with DELT to create and shape the District Equity Action Plan (DEAP).
We would love for you to be a part of this group to share your unique perspective as a community member and to contribute to the DEAP and equity work. As part of this committee, we will ask for your valuable input in completing specific tasks, collaborating with DELT members, and helping to set the agenda and goals for the Equity Advisory Committee.
Members of the Equity Advisory Committee should expect to:
- Attend monthly virtual meetings which will take place via Zoom for the foreseeable future.
- Have the opportunity to serve as a liaison to the DELT team and attend DELT meetings. The Equity Advisory Committee will elect liaisons to work with each strand of DELT. Meetings are held monthly on Saturday's from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Engage in meaningful dialogue to increase communication and transparency among our whole District 73.5 community regarding equity.

Respondents should expect to hear from the Family & Community as Agency team the first week of March.
