This weekend, several news outlets discussed a recent statement by Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, regarding fully vaccinated people no longer needing to wear face masks in public.
Please be advised; this information does not apply to school districts. Anyone entering Skokie School District 73.5 schools -- whether they have been vaccinated or not -- must wear a mask. Our district follows the guidelines from the Skokie Health Department.
