In early November, Skokie Public Library hosted a panel discussion about COVID Safety for the Whole Family. Below is the video recording from that presentation.

Skokie Public Library invites the community to attend COVID Safety for the Whole Family on Thursday, November 11th at 6:30 p.m.

The following panelists will discuss how to keep children healthy during the current stage of the pandemic and vaccine safety, efficacy, and myths vs. facts:

  • Omar Khan, M.D.
    Doulas Center and Muslim Community Center
  • Rabbi Art Hart
    Skokie Valley Agudath Synagogue
  • Reese Richardson
    Northwestern University Biological Sciences division and Ph.D. candidate with research profile on the biological functions of COVID infections in the human body
  • Dr. Sharon Robinson
    Pediatrician, NorthShore University HealthSystem
  • Jennifer Davis, R.N.
    Public Health Nurse, Skokie Health Department

This is a hybrid event and registration is required. In-person attendance is limited to 20 participants who must follow the library's pandemic safety guidelines. Participation via Zoom is unlimited; a link will be sent by email to participants with their registration confirmation.
