Ms. Carrie Eccleston, McCracken Middle School 6th grade Science and Social Studies teacher, was awarded $1,000 for the Lurvey Home and Garden Earth Day Contest.
Ms. Eccleston submitted an essay and video featuring our garden and McCracken Middle School Garden Club students. Lurvey, in collaboration with Adoria Organics, rewarded three deserving school districts with $1000 each to go towards the completion of an award-winning Earth Day project. The McCracken Earth Day project focused on improving the garden irrigation system by adding drip irrigation lines and timers for the watering system. We are so proud of Ms. Eccleston and our McCracken Middle School Garden Club students!
