In mid-November, the Village of Skokie and 32 neighboring communities issued a joint statement condemning all acts of hate.
"During these times of strife, we are more committed than ever to safeguarding our communities. We strive to be inclusive and welcoming spaces for the residents, businesses, and students who call our communities home as well as any visitors, and strongly oppose hate-motivated hostility that only serves to sow division and fear."
