Samantha Peterson

Samantha Peterson holds a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Roosevelt University with minors in secondary education and social justice. She also has Masters degrees from Concordia University Chicago in both school leadership and school business. Peterson has an Illinois Type 75 administrator endorsement as well as an Illinois Chief School Business Official Endorsement. She also earned a certificate in Grants Writing from DePaul University and obtained her Illinois Superintendent endorsement. 

Peterson began her career in education in 2008 creating and leading volunteer education and youth programs for Chicago Public Schools (CPS) including working with their Homeless Education Program (HOPES). Today her expertise is in federal and state grant program management, school finance, budgeting, and investment. Peterson specializes in innovation and accountability.
