Dear Families,
As a reminder, Skokie73.5 does not celebrate Halloween at school. Students should not wear costumes of any sort on Halloween or plan to distribute candy. Students who wear a costume to school will be asked to change into appropriate clothing.
The decision to replace traditional Halloween celebrations with a "Fall Fest" was made by the Board of Education Equity Committee in 2022 to create a welcoming activity that all students (and families) can enjoy together. We hope you can join in the fun at this year's PTO Fall Fest on Sunday, November 10 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Middleton.

Trick-or-treat hours in the Village of Skokie are from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31. The Village has provided window signage to display in homes that are not participating in trick-or-treat. Participating homes are encouraged to turn their porch light on to welcome trick-or-treaters.
